For the 4th year in a row, I will be participating in the Ottawa location of the
JDRF Ride for Diabetes Research. Since 2009, I have riden 18 km in 21 minutes.
This represents such a small portion of my life (0.000006%) and the 18 km is such
a short journey compared to that of someone living with Type 1 Diabetes,
that I again seek your help.

With your generous support, we have raised over $2,900 which has been generously matched by
Novo Nordisk Canada dollar for dollar.
Last year was a special year. I celebrated my 40th birthday just prior to the ride,
I celebrated by riding 7km in 7 minutes.
I seek your support in reaching my goal and celebrating the advances that have been made
in the treatment of diabetes that Novo Nordisk has been so centrally involved.

This year also marks the addition of a second entry into the ride, that of my all female colleagues riding as 'Novo Chicks' should you wish to help them win in this 'Battle of the Sexes', please support them generously, but be forewarned, i will not send you a bandana!
