TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes

Q. What is the JDRF TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes?

A. The JDRF TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about type 1 diabetes (T1D), raise much needed funds to continue essential JDRF-funded research, and is a great way for families, friends and organizations to get out for a day of fun and fitness while raising funds and awareness of T1D.

Q. Is there a registration fee?

A. Although there is no registration fee, the JDRF TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes is a key fundraising event for JDRF and as such, we encourage each participant to raise a suggested minimum fundraising amount of $100. The funds raised help support critical T1D research.

Q. What if I don’t raise $100?

Participants raising the suggested minimum fundraising amount of $100 are eligible to receive fundraising rewards.
