Q. What is iRide?

A. Participants choose from one of five Ride locations, train with their local coach to achieve their mileage goal, no matter how long or short, and use the guidance and experience of their local JDRF office to meet and exceed their fundraising commitment.

The JDRF iRide isn't just a bike ride: it's where hundreds of riders come together from all over the world to make new friendships, experience the unparalleled comradery of the Ride community and raise money to find a cure for T1D.

Q. What if I don’t raise the minimum required?

A. The iRide is a partnership. Riders commit to raising a minimum dollar amount and in exchange, JDRF provides each cyclist with support and coaching in the months leading up to and throughout the JDRF Ride weekend. Upon registering, you are asked to select your level of fundraising. Packages start at $2,500.

Q. How can I participate?

A. Simply register online and set your package and fundraising goal. Pledge forms, online fundraising resources and coaching are all available from JDRF to support you along the way.

Q. How long do I ride?

A. Whether you decide to ride 25, 60 or even 100km that’s all up to you. The iRide is about the mission, not the miles, so there is no minimum length for any of our Rides. However, many people do complete the entire 100 mile course at each ride. Each rider will have the support of a coach who will help them train to reach and exceed whatever their mileage goal is.
