Donate to Me

My granddaughter, Kenzie, and I are organizing a fundraising dance in support of JDRF.

It will happen on Saturday, November 2, at the Lakefield, Ontario Royal Canadian Legion on Nicholls Street, from 7:30 to 11:00. Entry is $10. My band, the Footnotes, will be providing the music, there will be a 50-50 draw, and donations over $20 will earn a tax receipt. The dance is for adults but kids are welcome.

Kenzie, age 11, was diagnosed with type 1 when she was 5 years old. She is healthy, happy, and active in many sports and school activities. She is also a dedicated supporter of JDRF. She is a JDRF Youth Ambassador, has participated in three JDRF walks, a run in Ottawa, and two pop-up lemonade stands - all to raise funds and awareness that will help JDRF work for a cure. She is a passionate voice for the 300,000 young Canadians living with type 1 diabetes.

Thank you for your support!
